Ten c’s London Fashion Week debut: The Permanent Wardrobe
The Ten c wardrobe presentation during London Fashion Week brought together new and archive garments, featuring their latest collection by Alessandro Pungetti. With a combination of Italian craftsmanship and unique Japanese fabrics, Ten c has been developing a cult following since its inception in 2010. OJJ is a type of fabric with transformative properties: over time, and with wear, the shape of the fabric adapts to the wearer’s body. It’s this unique material that has truly boosted the brand’s popularity. A member of the FGF Group (held by Enzo Fusco), Ten c is named after the Danish fairy tale, ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’.

Ten c’s SS27 collection highlights another material innovation: a titanium nylon polyester fabric, marking a new chapter in the brand’s evolution. Featured in the Jeans Jacket, Alpen Jacket and Windproof Anorak, the fabric is shown in Pompeii red and sandy shades. Through the dyeing process, iridescent highlights and three-dimensionality were created. Taking inspiration from the military world and uniforms, this latest collection explores different worlds, combining functional elements with a sophisticated urban aesthetic. The showroom itself was styled simply, drawing the warm palette of the garments to the centre of attention.

The traditional OJJ fabric has been reimagined into a 9oz version for summer, and is utilised in a jogging suit, field jacket and bomber jacket. Another new material, Nyfoil, is a garment-dyed metal coated nylon with a titanium-effect internal coating that creates metallic highlights. In combination with its military inspiration, Ten c’s SS27 collection pushes the boundaries of Italian outerwear.

The presentation also featured a preview of Ten c x COMOLI, an eight-piece collaboration launching on the 23rd October 2026. This project promises to reinterpret Ten c product ideas through COMOLI’s understated approach and softer proportions. Other collaborations were brought together from the Ten c archive, including Awake NY, sacai and Diemme. These demonstrate the adaptability of Ten c’s material and design language through different creative processes.
