Created by perfumer Daphné Bugey, eau de parfum, ‘The Baroness’, contains notes of orange blossom, with a base of sandalwood. The iconography of a golden gazelle’s head which adorns the bottle lid is utilised to express feminine grace, beauty and strength. Its release marks the ten year anniversary of the Portrait’s Collection, which includes perfumes such as ‘The Duke’ and ‘Lord George’, among others.

Similar to the rest of the collection, ‘The Baroness’ retails at £245 and will be available from September 2026. The Portraits universe is set apart from others due to its strong narrative drive, with each fragrance representing a character. ‘The Baroness’ is no exception to this, characterising a powerful behind-the-scenes figure, an original influencer who pulls strings from behind the curtain.

Quietly commanding, this fragrance elevates feminine power in an understated yet gilded way.
