Gracie Abrams announced as the newest face of Coco Mademoiselle

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has been named muse for the new Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu fragrance, the latest chapter in her role as a CHANEL House Ambassador.

Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Head of Creative Resources Fragrance & Beauty, described Abrams as “Driven by a fierce sense of freedom and an instinctive elegance. There is that liveliness in her, that unfussy refinement, which recalls Coco’s modernity.” As he puts it, “It is less a matter of silhouette than of attitude. Gracie arrives where she is not expected, always in motion, charting her own path.”

It’s a fitting moment for the pairing. Since the release of The Secret of Us in 2024, Abrams’ profile has risen fast. She’s since attended the Met Gala twice, in 2024 and again this past May. Now, in the midst of rolling out her album Daughter From Hell, arriving July 17, 2026, she steps into the Coco Mademoiselle role as one of pop’s most closely watched risers.

Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu leans into that same duality: an intense ambery composition threading vetiver and vanilla against the brightness of grapefruit and lychee, with rose, jasmine and patchouli underneath. Created by Olivier Polge, he describes the scent as “An affirmation of the self,” and “A deeply personal experience that exists only when it is worn.” 

Abrams embodies the spirit of Coco Chanel, both in complexion and character alike – fiery boldness and absolute elegance, refined and free-spirited in equal measure. She brings CHANEL to the forefront of a new generation of music fans, leaving her mark on the music industry much as Coco left hers on beauty.
