DeMellier: ICONS 26

Each of the ICONS have made their mark on pop culture, whether through entrepreneurship, storytelling or modelling, and their reimagined bags personify their practical yet stylish lifestyles.

Taylor Hill, an American supermodel (and one of the most recognisable faces in fashion) is also the founder of Tate & Taylor, an innovative brand in the pet care sector. In ICONS 26, she features The Large Siena Bucket in Burgundy Croc-Effect. On the collaboration, Hill said: “DeMellier’s dedication to ethical and sustainable craft, timeless style, and their all-female design team drew me to collaborate with them on The Large Siena Bucket – a bag that seamlessly fits into my everyday life.” Priced at £515, the bag is available on DeMellier’s website.

Lena Mahfouf, professionally known as Lena Situations, is a French-Algerian content creator, author and entrepreneur. She has built a creative empire including her own publishing house and podcast production. For her collaboration with DeMellier, she reimagines The New York in Fern Suede & Smooth Grain. Mahfouf expressed “What I love about DeMellier is their values; they create timeless bags with a real attention to craftsmanship and detail. The New York felt like the perfect bag because it’s super chic and one I’ll keep for years.” This bag is priced at £550.

Rebecca Donaldson, a Scottish model and entrepreneur, is well-known for her signature minimalist style. Her contribution is The Stockholm Shoulder in Dark Sage Fine Grain, priced at £450. With her modelling experience and degree in International Fashion Branding, as well as her fundraising work for Glasgow Children’s Hospital, Donaldson has cemented herself across the fashion industry. “I’ve admired DeMellier for a long time. Their commitment to female empowerment and giving back is a big part of why I wanted to partner with them on The Stockholm Shoulder. The style immediately stood out to me, I love that it makes a statement through the silhouette.”

Grece Ghanem is a Lebanese-born, Montreal-based creator who has built a community around her distinctive personal style. Her background in microbiology and personal training is synonymous with her ethos of fashion as a form of self-expression. For ICONS 26, she reimagines The Midi Hudson in Dark Navy Croc-Effect. Ghanem shared her thoughts about the collection: “Collaborating with DeMellier felt natural because of our shared values. Their approach to creating thoughtful pieces that can be cherished over time and worn with confidence reflects my own. The Midi Hudson is chic yet practical, making it essential in a woman’s everyday life.”

Romee Strijd is a Dutch supermodel, content creator and mother, having built a personal platform that extends beyond all of these industries into wellbeing and maternal wellness. Her collaboration focuses on The Stockholm in Dark Brown Fine Grain, which is available for £540. Of the collaboration, she stated: “I’ve always loved brands that combine timeless design with purpose. DeMellier gives back while creating beautiful pieces like The Stockholm, an elegant bag that makes you feel put together without trying too hard.”
