‘Paris is an absolute crush’: inside the Chanel celebration at Le Trianon
In a Coco Mademoiselle-themed cafe, Chassol opened the evening with a genius mix between poetry and groove, while maîtres d’hôtel, bartenders, Crush Tellers and Elixir Masters brought the fragrance to life. Inside the ballroom, Breakbot kicked things off with his remix of “Young Hearts Run Free”, the soundtrack and soul of the Crush Absolu campaign. 30 dancers, led by the campaign’s choreographer (Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui) recreated the film’s scene.

Following this, Honey Dijon and Chloe Caillet performed back-to-back DJ sets set firmly in the disco genre. Finally, American producer Alissia brought the evening to a close with a funk-electro soul set.
Gracie Abrams, Angèle, Paloma Faith and Quenlin Blackwell were among those in attendance, with Abrams pictured in an elegant black and white ensemble.

The entrance at Le Trianon was decorated in perfect synonymity with Crush Absolu, featuring blush-pink roses, with a neon ‘Coco’ sign adorning the outside of the building. Cafe Mademoiselle drew inspiration and elegance from jazz bars, featuring warm and dark wood tones with gilded accents. In contrast, the hidden bar was exclusively adorned in red velvet tones, evoking an elevated and expensive feeling in guests. Finally, the Absolute Ball was exactly what you would expect from such an exclusive House. Disco balls, golden lighting, and a photobooth were just some of the features available to guests.

All guests were resplendent in Chanel, keeping to a black-white-pink colour palette that perfectly complimented the 1920s-esque decor. Playing cards and, of course, countless bottles of the fragrance kept the party atmosphere going. A masterclass in marketing by Chanel, the Crush Absolu celebration will be turning heads for months to come.
