Alfred d’Orsay confirmed his deep devotion for his muse Marguerite of Blessington in 1830 by crafting a unique fragrance the two could share. Perfume came to him as an artistic calling, imagining a fragrance of absolution for them both, a scent without label.

This became the founding scent of Maison D’ORSAY, marking the beginning of a nearly two century long love affair with fragrances. Inspired by the many facets of love, the House continues to perpetuate its heritage, imagining eaux de parfum that is designed for both sides of a relationship.

This year, the House unveils its latest original creation, Vanilla Affair. Concentrated at 35%, the fragrance is centred around a single raw material pushed to excess; these extraits de parfum spark raw chemistry and desire. Tobacco and Tonka Bean meet a duo of Vanillas to create an outrageous intensity that leaves behind an ambery, musky trail you can’t resist falling for.

Sitting in the base of Vanilla Affair, Amber and White Musks are joined by a deep Patcholi with top notes of Balkan Tobacco, Tonka Bean and Cistus laced throughout. The duo of Vanillas uncovers the fragrance’s dual nature: one warm and tender, the other raw and untamed.
