Reimagining summer in the city with AGL’s new collection

While we enter the cold winter months, premium Italian footwear brand AGL has made it clear that we must look to the future with their new Spring Summer 2026 collection Urban Jungle. Described as shoes for the city’s modern woman, the collection celebrates energy and fearlessness at a time where life opens up to being a little more joyous, and everyone is outside again.

A day in the office followed by an evening in the pub garden with the girls? The collection is designed to seamlessly move with you throughout your day, pairing everyday functionality with a dose of bold design.

AGL has been an expert of the modern woman since its founding 1958. Now led by the three Giusti sisters – Sara, Vera and Marianna – the brand continues to balance Italian craftsmanship with a contemporary edge.

Rather than centring on one standout trend, the collection brings together a mix of materials and forms that feel intentionally eclectic, and a London summer, when the possibilities are endless, are exactly that. Featured styles include crocheted leather details and braided textures that nod to the brand’s traditional Italian craftmanship, as well as technical fabrics shaped in unconditional angles and urban architectural lines, such as a see-through sneaker and a knee-high tulle boot.

The collection also plays with contrast in a way that feels distinctly urban. Soft, tactile craftsmanship is offset by sharper, more graphic shapes, echoing the collision of old and new found in many European cities. Lightweight flatforms, squared-tow sandals and sculptural heels appear throughout, creating a balance between comfort and visual impact ideal for long summer days spent navigating the varied pace and texture of city life.

At a time where the instinct is often to flee the city for the beach, Urban Jungle offers a different perspective: perhaps we must embrace the energy of urban life and reimagine a summer in the city.
