A whisky experience like no other, where heritage meets high fashion in an exclusive three-week residency.

Harrods Unveils The Johnnie Walker Vault Boutique: An Exquisite Fusion of Whisky and Couture

Harrods has unveiled an exclusive new pop-up, the Johnnie Walker Vault Boutique, which will run for three weeks from 3rd to 25th October 2025. The activation marks the debut of a collaboration with fashion designer and creative director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing, introducing two exclusive new items: The Couture Blend, a limited-edition whisky expertly crafted by Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker, and The Couture Flask, a refillable, mixed-metal accessory designed to be worn and capable of carrying a 10ml pour. The Knightsbridge boutique is the only location in Europe where the designer flask will be available for purchase.

During the residency at Harrods, guests are invited to experience masterclasses exploring the component whiskies and layered aromas of The Couture Blend and to participate in guided discovery tastings. For guests seeking an elevated experience, the boutique offers on-site customisation options such as a bespoke Blue Label bottle stopper by Rousteing and the elegant Couture Blend bottle collar.

This marks the second collaboration between Olivier Rousteing and the Johnnie Walker Vault, celebrating themes of personal evolution, fearless artistry and creative tension. At the heart of this collection is The Couture Blend, a whisky blend specifically curated by Master Blender Dr Emma Walker, through a selection process from 500 rare and exceptional whiskies. Inspired by Olivier’s celebrated career and his 40th birthday, Emma layered in several whiskies of at least 40 years old, blending flavour and style in a bold new way that challenges traditional notions of luxury Scotch whisky, stating “I leaned into some of the most progressive and experimental whiskies from the past, and of modern times, whiskies that push the boundaries of flavour just as Olivier pushes the boundaries in couture”.

Complementing the new whisky blend is The Couture Blend Decanter. Departing from Johnnie Walker’s iconic square shaped decanter, this piece takes on an architectural form in pure crystal, featuring a lavishly oversized stopper finished in gold. This limited edition of 1,500 individually numbered decanters merges the brand’s heritage with Rousteing’s signature tailoring.

I loved playing with the paradox of pure crystal and decadent gold and finishing the decanter with the oversized crystal stopper. For such a unique whisky which blends old with new and traditional with experimental, it felt like  the perfect, unexpected piece of art to treasure it,” said Olivier Rousteing.

The collection also features The Couture Flask, a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic whisky flask. Crafted from mixed gold and silver metals, the 10ml refillable piece features a removable chain, allowing it to be worn crossbody or styled with an outfit or accessory. Inside the Johnnie Walker Vault Boutique, guests can also enjoy an elegant photo booth experience, capturing portraits with The Couture Flask.

The Couture Blend (RRP £2,000) and The Couture Flask (RRP £600) will be available to purchase throughout the three-week residency, alongside Johnnie Walker Blue Label. A limited number of exclusive experiences, such as expert-led tastings and personalised accessory services, will be offered while supplies last.
