The Scottish singer-songwriter has been announced as the latest brand ambassador for HEYDUDE, the global footwear label known for its easygoing style and comfort-first attitude.

Capaldi fronts the launch of HEYDUDE Country, a new global campaign that’s less about geography and more about mindset. Think: walking through life as your unfiltered self, in shoes that feel like a hug for your feet. And if anyone embodies that blend of raw vulnerability, humour and comfort-in-your-own-skin energy, it’s Capaldi.

“It’s been great to partner up with HEYDUDE, who are all about feeling right in yourself,” said Capaldi. “Making music is something that brings me a lot of comfort. You have to make music for you – and then you hope that people find some of themselves in it.”

“Lewis is the perfect fit for HEYDUDE Country,” said Michael Anthes, SVP and GM for HEYDUDE International. “He’s authentic, effortlessly relatable, and lives the comfort-first lifestyle we celebrate. This campaign is about confidence, self expression and finding that unique headspace where you can be unapologetically yourself.”

The collaboration is more than just a celebrity endorsement – it’s the beginning of a cultural movement. After massive growth in the U.S., they are doubling down on the UK and Europe, with pop-up activations, immersive brand experiences and a major launch event in Capaldi’s beautiful hometown of Glasgow.

From festival fields to airport lounges, HEYDUDE is rapidly becoming Gen Z’s go-to footwear brand. And with Capaldi now leading the charge, the message is clear: HEYDUDE isn’t just a shoe. It’s a way of stepping into the world – unapologetically, and of course in style.
