A new menu takes the experience of luxury cuisine and adds a nostalgic twist – of course with Champagne readily available at the push of a button… This is Bob Bob Ricard after all.

Bob Bob Ricard Returns To Its Roots With The Revival Of Diner Deluxe

Launching on March 31st, the return of the restaurant’s Diner Deluxe tradition comes with a fresh new menu for guests to sample, with classics including Eggs Benedict and Imperiale on offer. The idea is simple to create a place where guests can enjoy a glass of champagne, without sitting down for a three-course meal.

Some menu highlights to keep an eye out for include Oyster Rasputin, deep-fried oysters served with tartare sauce and Oscietra caviar (for a supplement), Scottish Lobster with mayonnaise or Plateau de Fruits de Mer for two – featuring six rock oysters, langoustine, salmon tartare, Atlantic prawns, clams, native mussels, brown shrimp, half a lobster, and the star of the show, Linguini Imperiale. This will be served with Oscietra caviar in a Bollinger Champagne and fish velouté.

Landing onto the London fine dining scene in 2008, Bob Bob Ricard first opened its doors in Soho, going on to open location number two in 2019 in the City of London, dishing up exceptional British and French cuisine paired with impressive interiors you can’t help but love.

Spearheaded by Leonid Shutov, the Russian born British restaurateur is regarded as an authority on champagne, vodka and restaurant interior design. Both Bob Bob Ricard locations are beloved for their Art Deco aesthetic, designed by David Collins Studio, their all-booth-style dining rooms pay homage to the Golden Age of rail travel.

In a past life, the menu included some staple nostalgic dishes we all know and love. Its first-ever menu famously included a bowl of Frosted Flakes for £2.50. Try finding somewhere in London you can enjoy a bowl of cereal with a ‘Push for Champagne’ button beside you.

There is a strong emphasis on dining as an experience to savour when you visit a Bob Bob Ricard restaurant, no matter the time of day. The revival of Diner Deluxe will continue this legacy, with plans to embrace its heritage further by bringing back late breakfast and brunch service at the weekend. Some more excellent news: the English Afternoon Tea is also set to return in the near future.
